The crucible of Buddhism, Bodhgaya was where Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment beneath a bodhi tree 2600 years ago and became Buddha (the 'Awakened One'). In terms of blessedness, this tiny temple town is to Buddhists what Mecca is to Muslims. Unsurprisingly, it attracts thousands of pilgrims from around the world every year, who come for prayer, study and meditation.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Varanasi – Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Varanasi airport our representative will meet & greet you. Later drive to hotel upon arrival check in to hotel and relax some time then move to the nearby sightseeing enjoy at the Varanasi from all around the world to purify themselves in the holy Ganges water and perform rituals along the dozens of Ghats along the river. By evening, you will witness the grand Ganga Aarti of Varanasi at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Later back to hotel in Varanasi & stay overnight.
Day 2: Varanasi – Bodh Gaya
After breakfast check out the hotel in Varanasi and drive to the Bodh Gaya. On arrival check in to the hotel. Spend leisure time nearby location, in the evening back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3: Bodh Gaya sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, move to the sightseeing Maha Bodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha statue, Thai Monastery, Royal Bhutan Monastery, Muchalinda lake, Dungeshwari Hills, then back to the hotel & stay overnight.
Day 4: Departure – Varanasi
After breakfast proceed to check out the hotel and drive to Varanasi airport for your return journey with happy memories.
