And then there's the Himalayan land of Ladakh, which for most foreigners is J&K’s greatest attraction. Its ethnolinguistically Tibetan people are predominantly Buddhist; their timeless monasteries are set between arid canyons and soaring peaks, while emerald-green villages nestle photogenically in highland deserts.
Day 1: ARRIVAL SRINAGAR
Upon arrivals at Srinagar Airport our representative will meet & greet you. Transfer to houseboat. Check in to the houseboat. In the Evening proceed for Shikara ride, Dinner and Overnight stay at houseboat.
Day 2: SRINAGAR - GULMARG – SRINAGAR
After breakfast at houseboat, Check out from the house boat. Proceed to Full-day excursion to visit Sightseeing to Gulmarg. Later Proceed to Full-day excursion to visit Sightseeing of Gulmarg (60 Km approx.). Gulmarg has one of the most beautiful summer resort/winter Ski resorts in the valley, Gondola ride (on your own). Later back to Srinagar and check into the hotel, Dinner and Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 3: SRINAGAR - SONAMARG – SRINAGAR
Breakfast at the hotel, Proceed to Full-day excursion to Sonmarg (Approx 79 km). River Rafting, Sonmarg Meadows of Gold, Sonmarg lies at the head of theSindh valley. The drive through here presents a spectacular facet of the countryside; Sonmarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, Surrounded by pine forest mountains up to 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajiwas Range Mountains" one canhave a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year the major attraction at Sonmarg in summer months, Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Leh Ladakh. Later back to the hotel, Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.
Day 4: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Full-day excursion to visit Sightseeing of Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds), one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year. It is the base for several treks in the region & for the Annual Pilgrimages to the cave shrine of Amarnath; It is surrounded by 12 high snowcapped peaks. Enroute, Visit the Saffron Fields of Pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old Temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman) & enjoy the beautiful country side life. Drive through the pine valley forest arrivesat Pahalgam. One can have a real feeling of Paradise. Later drive to Srinagar, Dinner and Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 5 SRINAGAR SIGHTSEEING -DEPARTURE
Early morning breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel. Proceed to Full-day excursion to visit Sightseeing in Srinagar visit Pari Mahal, Dargah Hazratbal Shrine and Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden. Later proceed to Srinagar aiport for your return journey. Depart with beautiful memories!!!
