Georgia, nestled in the Caucasus, is a captivating tourist destination renowned for its stunning and diverse landscapes, from the towering Caucasus Mountains to the Black Sea coast and wine-growing valleys. It boasts a rich history and culture, ancient cave cities, medieval monasteries, and the vibrant capital Tbilisi. Georgia is also famous as the birthplace of wine and offers delicious cuisine and incredibly warm hospitality, making it an appealing and affordable destination for various travelers.
Day 1: Tbilisi City Tour
Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in (Standard check in time is at 2 pm), the city tour begins with a visit to the National Park and the famous Peace Bridge. Then, take a cable car ride to enjoy panoramic views of Tbilisi and see the statue of Queen Tamara (Mother of Georgians). Visit the historic Narikala Fortress, then descend by cable car.(Optional visit to the sulfur baths).
Next, see the city’s waterfalls, Lovers’ Bridge, and the Tbilisi Mosque built in 2011. Visit the Botanical Garden, then head to a local restaurant for lunch. In the evening, take a night tour starting from Rustaveli Street and Galleria Mall, then walk to Freedom Square and Shardeni Street, known for its European and Arab-style restaurants and nightlife. Return to the hotel.
Day 2: Caucasus Mountains & Gudauri
After breakfast, travel to the Caucasus Mountains. The first stop is Ananuri Castle on the Aragvi River, a site rich in history and natural beauty. Continue to Basanuri, known for river activities like rafting. Then drive to Gudauri, a mountain resort near the Russian border, famous for its scenic balconies and cloud-covered peaks. Take photos and enjoy the view before returning to Tbilisi for the night.
Day 3: Mtskheta & Borjomi Tour
After breakfast, drive to Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital, to view the meeting point of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers from Mount Jvari. Then continue to Borjomi, famous for mineral water and green mountains. Visit the National Park, ride the cable car, see the waterfall, and relax in sulfur pools. Spend time by the river, then return to Tbilisi in the evening.
Day 4: Tbilisi Shopping TourAfter breakfast, go shopping in Tbilisi’s malls. Later, enjoy a meal at an Arab or Turkish restaurant (on your own). Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Tbilisi International Airport. We wish you a safe journey home and hope to welcome you again in Georgia or nearby countries.
