Kathmandu, the vibrant gateway to Nepal’s soul, beckons with its ancient charm. Established in the 2nd century AD, Nepal stands as one of the world's oldest living legacies, where history and culture dance through time.
Perched on the northern edge of the Kathmandu Valley, Nagarkot is a rustic haven draped in lush pine forests. This hilltop gem serves up a front-row seat to the Himalayas, where every sunrise and sunset paints the sky with breathtaking hues. It’s a serene escape, where the mountain panorama and tranquil vibes offer a perfect retreat into nature's embrace.
Day 1 :

Day-2:
Kathmandu Sightseeing TourWe embark sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city,also called `Kantipur`or city of glory,visiting,`KUMARI`the LIVING GODDESS,Kasthamandap,the Big Bell,Kal Bharab etc.We also visit `Swayambhunath temple. This is a Buddist temple set high on a hillock with a commanding view of the Kathmandu valley.
After lunch tour of `Patan City`one of the three queen cities of the vally.Patan is the city of fine arts,and we visit Durbar Square,Krishna Mandir,Mahavihar-Golden temple of Lord Buddha,built in the 12th century.Also visit the Tibetan centre. Later have dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-3:
Boudhanath and Pashupatinath Sightseeing TourToday we visit Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath Stupa.Bouddhanath Stupa lies about six km to the east of downtown Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the Valley. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. Bouddhanath, a World Heritage Site, is also known as Khasti, or dew drops, after an account that builders had to use dew to mix the mortar as Kathmandu was suffering from a severe drought during its construction.
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred hindu shrines in the world.The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbol,of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temple's existence prior to 400 AD. Devotees can be seen taking ritual dips in the holy Bagmati river flowing beside the temple, also a World Heritage Site.
After the tour we drive to Nagarkot.Time magazine of USA has recommended as one of the good retreats.Located 30 km to the east of Kathmandu on the valley rim.Situated at an elevation 2175 m and provides a grandstand paronama of the Himalayas.You can see five of the world`s 10 tallest mountains - Everest 8848 m,Lhotse 8516 m,Makalu 8463 m and manaslu 8163 m and many other lesser summits.The snow peaks look especially gorgeous during sunset and sunrise.Overnight at the hotel.
Day-4:
Sunrise from Hotel later drive back to KathmanduBreakfast at the hotel.You may wish to wander around the villages or take short hikes and breath the pure and fresh mountain air.Tranquility and serenity for pure relaxation.
Later we visit Bhaktapur Heritage city. Bhaktapur, also known as the city of Devotees. It is located at a distance of 14 km east of the capital. The ancient city covers an area of four squares miles, which still retains the medieval charms and treats its visitors with many wonders of historical, cultural and artistic achievements. Bhaktapur is home to ancient traditions, festivals and colorful celebrations, wooden and stone craft work, temples displaying excellent architecture with beautiful ponds, mask dance with typical Newari music and close neighbourhood.
Day-5:
DepartureMorning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Later proceed to Airport for your return journey!!!!
