Set on a magnificent estuary, serene Kochi has been drawing traders, explorers and travellers to its shores for over 600 years. Nowhere else in India could you find such an intriguing mix: giant Chinese fishing nets, a 450-year-old synagogue, ancient mosques, Portuguese- and Dutch-era houses and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. The result is an unlikely blend of medieval Portugal and Holland and an English village grafted onto the tropical Malabar Coast.
DAY 01 - COCHIN
You are greeted on arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station by our representative and thereafter transfer to Hotel. Afternoon you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year-old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening transfer to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for the onward Journey with Happy Memories.
