Rishikesh is a city in India's northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.
Day 1
Arrival Dehradun - Haridwar
After your arrival at the Airport / railway station our representatives will welcome you warmly, and then you'll be escorted to your exquisite hotel. After all the checking in formalities, More than half of the day will be free for your leisurely activities. You can get busy shopping at the nearby markets, or you can rest and recharge your energy for the next day's plans.
Day 2
Haridwar Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to visit Daksh Temple and Pawan Dham. Offer prayers to Lord Shiva at Daksheswara Mahadev Temple in Kankhal and then admire the elaborate mirror work inside Pawan Dham. For a change of pace, spend some time shopping and eating your way through lively shops at Moti Bazaar. In the latter half of the day, bow before mighty goddesses at Mansa Devi Temple, Maya Devi Temple, and the Chandi Devi Temple. After a full-day of sightseeing and temple visits in Haridwar, return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Haridwar - Rishikesh
After having breakfast, check out the hotel and visit Lakshman Jhula, Laxman Temple, Sacha Akhileswar Temple, 13 story temple, Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram and Geeta Bhavan. After all the checking in formalities, in the hotel Rishikesh overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Rishikesh (Adventure Day)
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast. Today you will be taking a day tour for adventure activities. You can indulge in adventure activities (at your own cost) like 16 K.M. River Rafting, Body Surfing, Cliff Jumping, and Valley Crossing. You can then travel to the highest Bungee Point in India and dare to make a crazy leap down into the valley. In the evening you will be escorted back to camp, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5
Departure
Gather your memories and bid goodbye to Rishikesh after a lovely breakfast, as part of your Uttarakhand packages. Complete your check out formalities and drive back home, via a picturesque route.
