Made up of the Satkosia and Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuaries, this 964-sq-km forested tiger reserve, 125km northwest of Bhubaneswar, is straddled by a breathtaking gorge, cut by the mighty Mahanadi River, and is one of the most beautiful natural spots in Odisha. However, tourists are not allowed inside the park’s core zone, where most of the wildlife is found, and 4WD safaris are not on offer. The main appeal of coming here is to spend some time amid the stunning natural scenery.
Day 1: Arrival at Bhubaneswar - Satkosia
After arrival a Bhubaneswar airport or station our representative will be there to welcome you and transfer to Satkosia tiger reserve near banks of river Mahanadi. Once you reach check in refresh yourself. Next visit shallow water river cruise by country boat and enjoy sunset point. Overnight stay near Mahanadi river bank.
Day 2: Satkosia Sightseeing
After breakfast at our hotel, visit Satkosia wildlife sanctuary, tiger reserve and Satkosia Nature Camp. You will explore local sightseeing ofJungle trail,Sishupathar dam, Budhidehi dam, Deojhar waterfall. Afternoon visit deepwater river cruise by speed boat and enjoy wildlife. Overnight stay at Satkosia
Day 3: Satkosia - On The Way Sightseeing - Bhubaneswar
After an early breakfast, checkout and visit Champanath temple, Bhattarika temple, Nilamadhab temple and finally drop at Bhubaneswar Airport or Rail Station.
