Day 1

 

Arrival Mysore 

 

• Upon your arrival in Mysore Airport/ Railways station, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to Mysore and subsequently your hotel. Freshen up and relax for a while.
• In the afternoon, visit the famous Chamundeshwari Temple, located atop Chamundi Hill. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, the patron deity of Mysore.
• Explore the Nandi Statue, a colossal monolithic bull sculpture, and enjoy panoramic views of Mysore from Chamundi Hill.
• Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Mysore.

 

Day 2

 

Mysore – Srirangapatna – Mysore

 

• After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Srirangapatna, a historic town located near Mysore.
• Visit the Ranganathaswamy Temple, a significant Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha (a form of Lord Vishnu).
• Explore the Dariya Daulat Bagh (Summer Palace) and the Gumbaz Mausoleum, which are historical sites with architectural significance.
• Return to Mysore and visit the St. Philomena's Church, known for its neo-gothic architecture.
• In the evening, visit the Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva Temple, dedicated to Lord Hayagriva (a form of Lord Vishnu).
• Overnight stay in Mysore.

 

Day 3

 

Mysore – Talakadu - Mysore

 

• After breakfast, check out from your Mysore hotel.
• Drive to Talakadu, which is approximately a 2-hour journey.
• On arrival, visit the Vaidyanatheshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and explore the temple complex.
• Visit the Pathaleshwara Temple, another important temple in Talakadu.
• Maruleshwara Temple is adorned with a huge Shivalingam installed by Lord Brahma. The temple was constructed by Ganga kings and houses idols of Surya, Maheswara, Ganapathi, Navagrahams, Thirumul, Shanmugar, Ambugai and Veerabhadra.
• Mallikarjuna Temple and Somanathapura Temple.
• Spend the evening exploring the nearby sand dunes and the banks of the Cauvery River.
• Return back to your chosen accommodation in Mysore  for an overnight stay.

 

Day 4

 

Departure 

 

• Enjoy your last breakfast in Mysore.
• check-out from your hotel and you will be dropped at the Mysore airport/railway station for your journey back home.
