Karnataka Mukti Kshetra Tour

Day 1: Bangalore - Kukke Subrahmanya – Dharmasthala - Kateel

On reaching at Bangalore airport/railway station, meet out tour representative who will be there for your welcome and drive to Kateel. En-route, we will stop at Kukke Subrahmanya and Dharmasthala to visit their ancient temples. Afterwards, drive to our final destination i.e. Kateel. On reaching, check in at the already booked hotel and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.

Kukke Subrahmanya is a popular religious centre that is surrounded by lush green forest and hills. Located on the banks of the Kukke Subrahmanya Kumaradhara River, it is an ideal place to boost your spirituality.

Dharmasthala is the holy abode for Hindu devotees. The major attraction of this place is the Sri Manjunathaswamy Temple where one can have a darshan of Lord Manjunatha Swamy (Shiva).

 

Day 2: Kateel - Udupi - Kumbashi - Kodeshwara - Gokarna

We will wake up early in the morning and get ready to visit Durgaparameshwari Temple, one of the famous temples of Kateel situated on the bank of Nandini River to offer prayers to Goddess Durgaparameshwari. Afterwards, we will return back to the hotel for breakfast. Enjoy delicious breakfast and check out from the hotel in Kateel and leave by road for Gokarna. On the way, we will stop at Udupi to visit its famous Sri Krishna Temple and other popular temples located nearby such as Chandramouleshwara Temple and Anantheshwara temple. After visiting these temples, we will continue drive to Gokarna. En-route again we will take a short break to visit Kodeshwara and Kumbashi temple. On reaching, we will check in at the already booked hotel and take pleasure of a comfortable overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Gokarna - Murudeshwara - Kollur Mookambika

Today, we will again wake up early in the morning and get ready to visit Mahabaleshwara Temple, one of the famous temples of Gokarna. Thereafter, we will head to Tamra Gowri and Ganapathi temple at Gokarna. After visiting these temples and offering prayers, we will return back to the hotel for breakfast. Enjoy delicious breakfast and get ready to check out from the hotel and drive to Kollur Mookambika. En-route, we will stop at Murudeshwara and visit the Murudeshwara temple. Afterwards, we will continue our drive to Kollur. On reaching, check in at the already booked hotel and get ready to visit the famous Mookambika temple of the town. Later, we will return back to the hotel to have a comfortable overnight stay.

The Mahabaleshwar temple is one of the holy places of Gokarna. It preserves the Atma Linga of Lord Shiva. According to the legend, the Atma Linga was given to Demon King Ravana by Lord Shiva to make his kingdom an unbeatable fortress.

Murudeshwara town is located on the coast of the Arabian Sea. It is popular for the Lord Murudeshwara Temple, second tallest statue of Lord Shiva in the world and 20 storied Gopuram which is built at the temple.

 

Day 4: Kollur - Shankaranayana - Sringeri - Horanadu

Today after early morning bath, we will leave to visit Sri Mookambika Temple at Kollur, a holy site amongst Hindu devotees. After darshan, we will return back to the hotel for breakfast and thereafter, check out from the hotel to leave by road for Horanadu. On the way, we will stop to visit Shankaranarayana Temple, one of the rare temples to see the confluence of Lord Narayana (Vishnu) and Lord Shankara (Shiva). Afterwards, we will head to Sringeri, which is situated on the banks of Tunga River and is the first mutt site established by Adi Shankaracharya. Vidya Shankara Temple and Sri Sharadamba Temple are the major attraction of Sringeri. The Vidyashankara After visiting these two temples, we will continue our drive to our final location for the day i.e. Horanadu. On reaching, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Horanadu is located in Chikmagalur district. It is indeed a place of charming natural landscape. One of the major attractions of the place is its ancient temple of the goddess Annapoorneshwari which has been restored and renamed the Adi - Shaktyatmaka Shree Annapoorneshwari.

 

Day 5: Horanadu - Kalasa - Halebid - Belur - Bangalore

On the last day of the tour, we will have breakfast in the morning and afterwards, check out from the hotel to leave for Bangalore. On the way, we will stop at Kalasa to visit the Kalaseshwara Temple and to see the wonderful Hoysala architecture at the temples of Belur and Halebid. Thereafter, we will continue our drive to Bangalore. On reaching, get direct transfer to Bangalore railway station/airport to board train or flight for onward journey.
