Coorg Tour with Kabini

Nestled amid evergreen hills that line the southernmost edge of Karnataka is the luscious Kodagu (Coorg) region, gifted with emerald landscapes and hectares of plantations. The uneven terrain and cool climate make it a fantastic area for trekking, birdwatching or lazily ambling down little-trodden paths winding around carpeted hills. Day 1: Bangalore - Coorg
On arrival at Bangalore railway station/airport, meet our representative who will be there for your welcome. Thereafter, our representative will take you to Coorg by road, which is about five hour journey. On reaching Coorg, we will check in at the hotel. The evening time is free at leisure. During your free time, you can stay back in your spacious room and rest or enjoy the modern amenities of the hotel. An overnight stay in the hotel.
Coorg is traveller's delight and famous for its bulk coffee plantation, waterfalls and soothing weather. The place is one of the major tourist attractions in the Southern India that attract thousands of visitors from around the world.
Day 2: Coorg Sightseeing
In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Coorg and have a good time. In our day tour, we will be visiting some of the major attractions of Coorg including Talakaveri, Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwara Temple, etc. After exploring these places, we will visit the immense spice and coffee plantation in the evening. Thereafter, we will return back to the hotel to enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.
Omkareshwara temple in Madikeri was built in 1820 by Lingarajendra II in the Mumammadan style of architecture. It is an ancient shrine devoted to Lord Shiva and a major pilgrim center in Karnataka.
Madikeri Fort was initially discovered by Mudduraja in the second half of the 17th century. He built a palace inside the fort. It was finally rebuilt in stonework by Tipu Sultan who named the site as Jaffarabad. The fort represent the stories of the past and attract visitors especially history lovers.
Day 3: Coorg - Kabini
Today after having breakfast in the hotel, we will check out and drive to Kabini, which is about two and a half hour journey. On arrival, check in at your pre-booked hotel. Afterwards, get ready to explore the major attractions of Kabini such as Kabini River, Kabini Dam, Nagarhole National Park, Irpu Falls, Rameswara Temple, etc. The seightseeing tour of Kabini required a complete day where in you can explore most of its tourist places. After these places throughout the day, we will return back to our hotel in the late evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.
Kabini is one of the most preferred travel destinations among the families, couples and travel lovers. Located near Bangalore, the place is blessed with rich forest cover, waterfalls and valleys. It also contains an abundance of vegetation.
Day 4: Kabini
After breakfast in the morning, we will be visiting a tribal village to explore the lifestyle of locals. On reaching the village, we will interact with locals to learn more about their unique culture and lifestyle. After having lunch with locals in the village only, we will head for Elephant Jungle safari to explore the real natural beauty of the place. Later, in the evening we will head back to the hotel for a stress free overnight stay.
Day 5: Kabini - Bangalore
On the last day of our tour, we will have the breakfast and afterwards, check out from the hotel to return back to Bangalore. On arrival, get direct transfer to the airport/railway station to catch flight or board train for onward destination.
