Day 1: Arrival in Mysore - Coorg
Kickstart your Independence Day weekend with a scenic road trip to Karnataka’s most beloved hill station - Coorg! Upon your arrival at Mysore Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative who will assist you with your transfer to Coorg by road. Enjoy the picturesque drive through winding roads, plantations, and small villages. On arrival in Coorg, check in to your pre-booked hotel (standard check-in time is 2:00 PM). The rest of the day is free to relax and explore the peaceful surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 2: Coorg Sightseeings
After a delightful breakfast, gear up to explore the natural and cultural highlights of Coorg. Begin with a visit to the Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique blend of Gothic and Islamic architecture. Then head to the serene Raja's Tomb, a quiet place with great historical significance and panoramic views. Continue to the majestic Abbey Falls, where water cascades into a deep gorge surrounded by coffee plantations. Then, enjoy the scenic views from Brahmagiri Hills Viewpoint, a perfect photo stop. Wrap up your day with a visit to a local coffee plantation, where you can stroll through aromatic estates and learn about the bean-to-cup journey. Return to your hotel in the evening. Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Mysore airport or Railway station for your return journey. Head back home refreshed, recharged, and filled with wonderful memories of a calm and rejuvenating Independence Weekend in the hills of Coorg.
