Day 1
Arrival Madurai
Upon your arrival at Madurai Airport or Madurai Railway Station in the early morning, you will be greeted by our local tour representative.
Later transfers to the hotel, check in to the hotel. Madurai is among the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and is well-known around the world for its stunning Hindu temple architecture.
Take some rest before we visit the marvellous Meenakshi Amman Temple (opens from 05:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and closes from 12:30 p.m. to 04:00 p.m.). Pray to the Goddess and discover the enthralling art of stone figures so elaborately designed on Gopurams.
From there, visit other top attractions of the cities that may include Thirumalai Nayak Palace and Koodal Azhagar Temple.
Later back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 2
Madurai - Tiruchirapalli
After breakfast, depart for Tiruchirapalli (Trichy), which is approximately 135 kilometers away and takes about 2-3 hours by road. On the way visit Viralimalai Murugan Temple.
Visit the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam, one of the largest temples in India and an important pilgrimage site for Lord Vishnu devotees.
Explore the Rockfort Ucchi Pillayar Temple, situated on a rock hillock.
Visit Vekkali Amman Temple, Thiruvanaikoil Temple also known as Jambukeshwarar Temple and Kallanai Dam.
Check in to your hotel in Tiruchirapalli.
Overnight stay in Tiruchirapalli.
Day 3
Tiruchirapalli - Tiruvannamalai
After breakfast, drive to Tiruvannamalai, which is approximately 190 kilometers away and takes about 3.5-4 hours by road. On the way visit Samayapuram Amman Temple.
Explore Sathanur Dam ,the famous Annamalaiyar Temple and the spiritual ambiance of Tiruvannamalai.Then Visit Ramana Ashram and Chenji Fort.
Check in to your hotel in Tiruvannamalai.
Overnight stay in Tiruvannamalai.
Day 4
Tiruvannamalai - Chidambaram - Kumbakonam
After breakfast, depart for Chidambaram, which is approximately 100 kilometers away and takes about 2-3 hours by road.
Visit the Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram and explore the town.
Visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram and Sri Mahalingaswami Kovil.
Continue your journey to Kumbakonam, Check in to your hotel in Kumbakonam.
Visit Adi Kumbeshwara Temple, Nageswaran temple and Mahalingeswarar Temple.
Explore the temples and cultural heritage of Kumbakonam.
Overnight stay in Kumbakonam.
Day 5
Departure
After breakfast, depart from Kumbakonam to Madurai Airport for your departure.
