The gateway to the Northeast, and the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the region, Guwahati serves as the starting point for many itineraries. Extending along the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, it’s in large part a somewhat featureless expanse of concrete, glass and traffic. But if you explore the older areas near the river, you'll start to feel the character and local flavour that lingers amid the ponds, palm trees, temples, single-storey traditional houses and colonial-era mansions.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL GUWAHATI – GUWAHATI SIGHTSEEING
Up on arrival at Guwahati airport our Representative will meet and greet you, later proceed to Guwahati sightseeing visit Kamakhya Temple, Umanand Temple, Dipor bil. Later check in the hotel and overnight stay in Guwahati.
DAY 2: GUWAHATI SIGHTSEEING
Morning after having Breakfast proceed to Guwahati sightseeing visit Navagraha temple, Peacock Island Boat Ride (own charges), Guwahati planetarium, Digholi pukhuri, later back to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 3: GUWAHATI SIGHTSEEING
Morning after having Breakfast proceed drive to Guwahati sightseeing visit Assam Zoo, Agra tara temple, Saraighat Bridge, Isckon temple, later back to the hotel and overnight stay in Guwahati.
DAY 4: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE
Morning after having Breakfast check out from the hotel, later proceed to Guwahati airport for return journey with happy memories.
